Re: IAI M1 carbine...
Probably one of the M1's that was brought back into the country recently (within the last two years) and was sold by CMP.
That's a stellar price. MOST of these M1's were only in fair to rough shape. If you can see it and it APPEARS to function, jump on it. That's a great price for that weapon. Assuming it's in ANY kind of usable shape. Parts ARE readily available also. |
Re: IAI M1 carbine...
This explains what these rifles are:
http://www.m1carbinesinc.com/carbine_iai.html Guy is leaving the area(Marine) so needs to sell I guess. I just don't REALLY need another rifle or to spend the money on it...but...:ok: |
Re: IAI M1 carbine...
I'd buy it for $350. The only M1 Carbines I avoid are Universals.

Re: IAI M1 carbine...
Before buying it, you might want to see if the seller will let you test fire it using a 15 round GI magazine.
I'm happy with my IAI carbine (bought from AIM many moons ago, shortly after they started being sold). Never had any hassles with it. |
Re: IAI M1 carbine...
IAI, Israeli American Arms...made in Houston w/ USGI parts on different recievers. All reports I've heard said they ran fine...I'd jump on it for $350...
